What's new

I've currently finished implementing the majority of new game play mechanics that will be in super mission extreme. For instance you can now slash and hang from ledges, along with enemies being blown back from explosions which results in some funny situations. Basically there is more shit to blow up! You can now obtain weapon power ups as well as upgrading your fire rate and at the end of each stage you can spend your acquired experience points accordingly to improve your stats. I've already thrown in custom controls as well. There are a lot more smaller touches this time around as well, like hidden areas that are harder to reveal and some that can only be revealed a certain way. I'm currently working on the last half of the first stage the first boss battle. Back to work now!
